Clendon
Bramhill married Violet Bridge of Concession 1. The Bridge family was active
in the Salvation Army in the early 1900's. Clendon and Violet Bramhill
farmed Lot 21 Concession 3 until their family grew up.
They had a family of eight:

Bernice married
Norman Miller. After Norman’s death in 1969, she married William Marriner;

Ruby married

Velma Harper in 1960, then in 1992 he married Rhoda Nixon.
The family farm had a large apple orchard until the killing frost of 1934. There was a pond on the farm from which ice was cut in the winter, stored until the summer and then sold to Palmerston merchants and town folk with iceboxes. - Clendon's Farm
After the family grew up the eldest son, Ivan looked after the homestead. Clendon bought a chopping mill on the Main Street, Palmerston in 1939, which was known as "Bramhill Bros. Chopping Mill". Along with some family members, Clendon ran the mill for seven years, and then J. Phil Rundle purchased it. - Bramhill Enterprises
